Ben joined Masters in September 2018 and works in our Commercial Department.

Following attendance at the University of Sheffield, having read International Relations, Ben commenced his career in costs upon graduation in 2013. He is now a qualified Costs Lawyer, having completed the ACL Costs Lawyer Training Course in September 2019.

Whilst working primarily with commercial clients, Ben is also experienced in complex clinical negligence matters as well as claims involving actions against the Police, the Human Rights Act and Judicial Review. Acting for both the receiving and paying party in respect of Tribunal & Arbitration cost awards, as well as within the Courts up to the Supreme Court level, Ben is familiar with all relevant Practice Directions. He has particular experience with Cost Budgets and the case management process and thereafter in acting ‘cradle to grave’ for his clients where necessary.
